Click on a question below for the answer:
Billing
When you sign up for your 30-day free trial, Wal-Mart will ask you for a credit card number. If you're happy with Wal-Mart DVD Rentals, Wal-Mart will automatically begin billing your credit card when your free trial ends (but not a minute before!). If you're not completely satisfied, you can cancel the service anytime during the 30-day free trial to avoid being billed for the next month. There are no late fees and you can cancel anytime by visiting your Membership Status page. If your membership is canceled you will have 7 days to return the DVDs you have rented. For each DVD lost or not returned, a $17.88 fee plus tax will be charged to your credit card. You can change your billing information anytime by visiting Your DVD Rentals Account. You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.
Requesting DVDs
Use the Rent button to add titles to Your DVD List. We recommend that members keep a list of at least 6 titles so that we can send you a new title as soon as we receive your rental return. You'll never be without your favorite movie again!
DVD Shipping Status
Your DVD List may also be used to check the shipment status of requested titles. The USPS will track return envelopes. When Wal-Mart receives information from the USPS that it has received a return envelope from your account, Wal-Mart will ship you the next title from Your DVD List. When Wal-Mart receives the return envelop at its processing center, they will remove the title from the list of DVDs you have out. Please be aware that Post Office tracking time and accuracy varies. If the Post Office does not track the return envelope, Wal-Mart will ship the next title from Your DVD List once it receives your returned DVD at its processing center.
How Your DVDs are Sent
All DVDs will be sent and returned by mail. DVDs are sent directly to members by first-class mail (U.S. Postal Service) to the specified shipping address. An email confirmation will be sent to members when a DVD has been shipped. Wal-Mart does not offer delivery through other shipping methods or carriers, including expedited shipping options, such as Priority shipping. Drop-off or pickup at a Wal-Mart store is currently not available.
How to Return DVDs
A DVD should be returned in the postage-prepaid return envelope provided. The USPS will track return envelopes. When Wal-Mart receives information from the USPS that it has received a return envelope from your account, Wal-Mart will ship you the next title from Your DVD List. When Wal-Mart receives the return envelope at its processing center, the company will remove the title from the list of DVDs you have out. Please be aware that Post Office tracking time and accuracy varies. If the Post Office does not track the return envelope, Wal-Mart will ship the next title from Your DVD List once the company receives your returned DVD at its processing center. Drop-off or pickup at a Wal-Mart store is currently not available.
Lost Prepaid Mailers
If you have lost one of the postage prepaid mailers, you can place the DVD in an envelope and send it to:
Wal-Mart DVD Rentals
3101 N. Highway 27
Carrollton, GA 30117
Do not return your DVDs to DVDWeekend.com or DVD TV NEWS, INC.
Lost Sleeves
If you have lost the sleeve (usually white and has a large sticker with a bar code and the DVD title) for the DVD, please return the DVD with a slip of paper that includes your name, email address, shipping address and the DVD title.
Broken DVDs
If you receive a broken DVD, please report the problem and then send the broken DVD back to Wal-Mart in the prepaid mailer. The company will do its best to send you another DVD as soon as possible.
Personal DVDs or Discs
Wal-Mart cannot guarantee the return of a member's personal disc mistakenly sent to us in a DVD Rentals return envelope. If the company receives a disc that does not belong to it, Wal-Mart will do its best to contact you.
No Store Pickup or Drop-off
Wal-Mart stores do not currently offer DVD Rentals or accept DVD Rentals returns. Please return all DVDs through first-class mail using the postage prepaid envelope that is provided.
