Mindy Burbano-Stearns

Mindy Burbano-Stearns, co-host of DVDWeekend, covers the world of entertainment for "News At 10," the top-rated prime time newscast on KTLA-TV in Los Angeles. Mindy provides viewers with the latest entertainment and DVD news from Hollywood, New York and around the world.

Prior to joining KTLA and DVDWeekend, Mindy was a correspondent on "Entertainment Tonight," where she reported general entertainment news, conducting celebrity interviews, attending movie premieres and other industry events, as well as making on-set visits to feature films and television series.

Before moving to Hollywood, Mindy was entertainment reporter for "Good Day Oregon" at KPTV in Portland and was co-host for Saginaw, Michigan's highly rated radio show "Mike & Mindy in the Morning."

Mindy has appeared four times on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," twice as one of Oprah's "favorite guests" for her repertoire of vocal sound effects. She has also appeared on "Live With Regis and Kathie Lee."

A native of Forest Grove, Oregon, Mindy studied television and film at the University of Oregon, and graduated from the Oregon Health Sciences University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

DVD Weekend is produced by DVD TV News, Inc. in association with KTLA, the WB affiliate in Los Angeles. It is also telecast on SuperStation WGN, reaching over 60 million U.S. homes, as well as select Tribune Broadcasting stations. It is anticipated that the program will move into full national syndication in late 2004.
